Handlers of Australian canned meats allege that the Board of Trade is accepting inferior American meat-3 for the mercantile marine. Mr. Coghlan, interviewed the Board ancT received an assurance that the standard recently in force would not be lowered. The Franeo-British Exhibition authorities have appointed their expert, Mr. Marks, now visiting Australia, to represent them and to give, winegrowers information relative to the use of Australian wines at the Exhibition. _ -
