PERSONAL.
Mrs. J. Chapman, of AVairoa, is at present on a visit to Gisborne. Mr. W. J. Hawley, Collector oi Customs, leaves to-night for Auckland on a month’s holiday leave. Part of the time will be spent in Christchurch. T Mr. F. Rowley, Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories, leaves to-morrow evening for Napier, alter which he proceeds to 'Wellington. The funeral of Mrs. A. B. Barron, who died on Thursday, will leave Mr. (I. Barron’s residence, Whataupoko, Inr the Makaraka cemetery to-mor-row.
