Ihe former pair started off wall, and established a strong lend, bu. .Martin and Birrell, who were receiving a handicap of 5, played a fine uphill game and gradually caught Hieir opponents until the 20tl. bead when matters were level. On the final head Colley obtained the advantage, and won by the narrow margin of one point.
