'lt is a few years now since there has been so much interest taken in tho double sculling events rowed by the Poverty Bay Club equal to tins season, anil never since tlie introduction of these boats has the , racing been so keen and tho final in doubt till tlie last heat lias been rowed; and it must have been highly gratifying to Air. It is rather a pity that the club cannot be represented at Napier in tins event, there being the material for a good combination, with training anil practice.
