ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
Press Association. . NAPIER, Dec. 26. A man named Campbell Simson, a cook employed nt Longland station, near Hastings, attempted to commit suicide by- cutting liis throat on Tuesday, but ho was discovered soon after the attempt and taken to tlio Napier Hospital, where he is improving. He is stated to he a sufferer from heart disease.
