CHRISTMAS TREE AT HIS MAJESTY’S.

To-night will see the consummation of the above unique festival in His Majesty's Theatre. For some time past work parties have been busy preparing for the tree, and something quito out of the ordinary is promised. A huge tree has been placed in the theatre, and to-night it will groan under the good tilings for young and old. Every person attending will receive a present, and many beautiful things have been given. TliS promoters of the festival wish it to be clearly noted that, in consideration of the younger children, the first part of tho programme will be short, so that the greater part of the evening may be devoted to the Christmas Tree. As the object of the entertainment is a good one, the proceeds being in connection with Holy Trinity and Haiti Sunday Schools, all residents should attend. Parents of the children are especially asked to accompany the children. A lau-ge assortment of sweets has been handed in, and each child will be presented with a hag as far as they will go.
