CRICKET.
A special meeting of the P.B. Cricket Association is being held this evening to consider the advisability of sending a team to Auckland at New Year. TE RAU V. C.S. AND CO. The above teams met yesterday on the Domain. C.S. and Co.’s skipper won the toss and decided to bat. Notwithstanding the fact that the side included a couple of “big guns” they wore all dismissed for the extremely low total of 22 runs. This result was due mainly to tho excellent. bowling of ML 11. TVack and Pine, backed by good fielding. Te Ilau then went in, and were not' all disposed of until the total had reached 161, thus winning easily by 139 runs.
