\ large number of members attended on the green yesterday, and notwithstanding the intense beat and high wind prevailing some very interesting play took place. A rather unique experience for bowlers was to seo a horse unattended corno in the front gate. About a dozen members •ili rushed forward with hats and bowls, etc., to try and prevent tho same leaping on to tho green. Bventually it was caught, and had to leave by tho back entrance.
