At the Domain to-day the Thursday competition will be .re-commenc-ed, when To Ran meet Common, Shelton, and Co.’s team. H.B. TEAM’S VISIT POSTPONED A wire was received yesterday from the secretary of the Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association, stating their inability to send a team to Poverty Bay this season. In consequence, the local Association are endeavoring to send a team to Auckland at New Year. The matter will bo considered at a special meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association. Owing to several prominent cricketers being, unable to get away at Christmas, the contemplated visit of the Hawke’s Bay team to Auckland and Gisborne has been postponed till later in the season.
