MASONIC INSTALLATION
There was a fair muster at the Alasonic /Hall last night, when the newly-elected officers oi Lodge Montrose were installed. It was hoped that the installation would be carried out by a member of tlio District Grand Lodge, but as one could not be obtained the ceremony was carried out by Bro. A. G. Beere, Bros. Zaclia.riali .(Lodge Turangauui) and Robertson (Lodge Abercorn), acting as presenting officers. The following officers were, installed: —R.AV.AL, Bro, A. Kirk; 1.1’.A1., Bro. AV. Sundlant; D.M., Bro. A. G. Beere; S.AI., Bro. H. Sundlant; S.AA 7 ., Bro. T. Ellery; J.AA 7 ., .Bro. AA 7 . G. Bremner; chaplain, .Bro. R. N. Jones, P.M.; treasurer,Bro. R. T. Seymour, P.M.; secretary, Bro. J. R. Little, P.AI.; S.D., .Bro. J. Alorrison; J.D., (Bro. D. AleKeague; 1.G., Bro.' J. AA 7 . Smith; stewards. Bios. A. R. Don and G. AVildish; organist, Bro. J. Chrisp. Tlio following toasts were honored : —“The King and Graft-,” IJro. A. ICirk; “District Grand Lodge,” (Bro. H. iSand’lant; “Newly Installed Almster,” Bro. AV. Sandhuit; “AUsitors,” Bro. J. AATiinray; “Immediate Past Alaster,” ißro. .Beere; “Officers of Lodge,” Pro. Somervell; “Ladies,” Bro. H. Sandlaait. One of the most striking speeches of tho evening was that of ißro. Fyson. During the evening songs were rendered by 'Bros. McClymant, Zaoliariah, H. De Costa, Barlow, McAlillan, anil Ambridge. 'Bro. A. Don contributed a flute solo. The accompaniments were played by Bros. Hookey and J. Chrisp.
