Another effort is to be made to capture Mateliga, the Maori outlaw who has been running wild in the hackhlocks of Poverty Bay for some years past. About eighteen months ago Detective Broberg, of Wellington, and a small party ol' experienced busbmen put in a long spall of arduous work endeavoring to capture tlio outlaw in mountainous country near Tolaga Bay. - Although they came acnoss tracks of him they could never boast of having seen him. On this occasion Detective Broberg will b? assisted in the search by Constable Skinner, a- well-known wrestler, and by others who have knowledge of the district m which the search will bo made.
