As evidence of how the public of Gisborne recognise a good “spec,” the broker of the above company reports that since registration of the company on Thursday morning. last, no less a number than 9600 of the 12,000 £1 shares have been applied for. The directors are anxious, for obvious reasons, J-hat the shares be as much spread as' possible, and the old customers of Messrs. Adaif Bros, are cordially invited to participate in what, it is claimed, must assuredly be a great financial success. A glance at the prospectus discloses a strong and representative directorate, and tlie financial aspect is most inviting, the average annual profits for the part five years—£l94l 13s 5d —representing over 16 per cent, per annum on the estimated cost- of tlie business.
