ENTERTAINMENTS.
MRS. BUOKERIDGE’S CONCERT. Excellent booking lias taken place for tli© complimentary concert to be rendered this evening to Mrs. Buckeridge, who is about to leave on a trip to England,. and a bumper attendance is expected. Mrs. Buckeridge is to contribute liberally to the programme, being set down for four solos, and she will also appear in a duet with Dr. Buckeridge and a quartet with Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy and Dr. Buckeridge. iA special feature of the concert will be the debut- of Misses Pyko and Daisy Hansen, the laitt-er .being a very young performer. In addition songs wii tie sung by Mrs. Phil Barry and Messrs. Griffiths, Percy Adair, Williamson, Barlow, Teat, and T. Reynolds. !Mr. A. F. Kennedy will give a recitation, and Mr. J. Adair will render a ’cello solo. All orchestra under the direction of Mr. M. L. Foster will be present, and will render selections, in addition to supr plying an accompaniment to Mrs. Buckeridge in her. singing of “Alas! Those Chimes,” the celebrated ballad from “Miaritana.” Suburban ’buses will run after the concert. .
