CHARGED AVITH AIANSLAUGH- , TER. Press Association. INVERCARGILL. Nov. 28. John Lloyd, manager of flic Nightcaps mine, was charged to-day that on tho 21st day of June, 1907, he committed manslaughter by culpably causing the death of AVilliam Duncan, William Short Carson, and Patrick AVelsli, being an indictable offence. The Crown Prosecutor, in opening tho case, reviewed the evidence already covered by the previous proceeding, and called witnesses. The whole de.positions were substantially tho same as those already given. Tho case is unfinished.
