An inquest on tho body of Mrs. Pennyeook, who was burned to death at Balclutha. last night, was held today. Mr. Cruicksliank, Coroner, said it was one of the saddest affairs lie had been called upon to preside over since lie became a coroner. Deceased had plainly met her death through her house being accidentally burned down. The jury returned a verdict to this effect.
