Special to Times. WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. The Native Affairs Committee reported yesterday on the petition of Miss Gertrude Meinortzliagen m re tlio Marmarama block. The committee strongly recommended that legislation be introduced to . settlers under section *6 of the Maori Land Settlement Act, 1900, who did not make declarations under section 26 of the Maori Land Administration Act, 1900. prior to tlio execution of such cases, subject to proper provision for restriction of area and the protection of valid interests of the Crown or any person-
