The sixteenth show proved tho most successful yot. held under tho auspices of tho Association. Tho entries increased 00 per cont, and tho attendance was 1000 more than last, year’s record* whilst tho quality oi tho stock was more than maintained. The result w?s achieved despite tho very unfavorable weather experienced. Horses as usual were one of the main features of the Show. Shorthorns also made a good display, ami sheep appeared in imore favor. '’liners of championships were : Draught entire, Mr. Taylor, manager Department of Agriculture; hack, F. McGovern; hunter, Innis Taylor; harness horse Walter Chitt.y; Shorthorn bull and cow, William Taylor; Hereford bull, A. MocFnrlane; Angus bull and cow, J. C. Allen; Jersey (bull, Willis Bros.; cow, Mrs F. Donald Wriglit; Ayrshire bull, \> • J • Hall; cow, James Primrose; Lincoln ram and ewe, It. MoElwain; English Leicester ram and owe, John Gordon; Border Leicester ram and owe, William Taylor; Romney ram, H. b. Hawkins; ewe, 'Walter Chatty; Shropshire ram and ewe, C. Day; Southdown ram and ewe, Departmcmnt of Agriculture.
