Green A.A) was appointed secretary arid treasurer, and Mr. A. Donaldson (Swimming Association) hon. auditor. A motion was adopted by 10 votes to 7 expressing approval of the clause in flio new Gaming and Lotteries Bill relating to tho suppression of betting at sports meetings. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 7. At iai meeting of tho Executive of the N Z. Athletic Union, the President stated that none of tlio Associations outside Auckland city were joining tho independent Union formed in Auckland.
