Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. A deputation representing 35 members' of Parliament waited on the Premier yesterday, and made the following' proposal regarding (the Bank of N.Z.(I) To place .public shareholders on the same footing as private shareholders as to dividend; (2) .to reduce charges to the public for banking services, abolition of the charge for keeping school counties account,! exchange on cheques, etc.; (3) reduce charges for making advances to local bodies; (4) regulation by bank prohibiting clerks managing unless -in receipt of £7OO per annum.
