GOOD AVAGES. United Press Association —Copyright (Received 9.10 li.m., Nov. 7.) SYDNEY, Nov. 7. In connection with the miners’ demla.nds, tho colliery proprietors have prepared a statement of wages earned at tlio principal colleries, Newcastle and Alaitland districts, for tlio past six months. At 21 pits the daily wages ranged from 10s to 16s, averaging 13s. One colliery ranged from 16s to 33s lOd. An increase of fourpence in the hewing rate will meian an additional fourteen pence per day. By closing the Burwood and Lambton pits over 500 men have been rendered idle.
