BIG DEAL BY THE STEEL TRUST. iJnited Press Association —Copyright (Received 9.47 p.m., Nov. C.) NEW YORK, Nov. 6. Tho American Steel Trust has obtained a controlling interest in tlic Tennessee Coal, Iron, and Railroad Company. Tho banks hold a large quantity of tho company’s stock through collateral loans. The Steel Trust, by securing four million sterling worth of stock at an outlay of £3,400,000, adds materially to the cash resources of the banks.
