GISBORNE CLUB.
Last evening the final for the trial fours was rowed over tho AVaimata course, when Bright’s crew beat Cunwning’s. At the start Cmnming got away and had a lead of half a length until D.r. Williams’ was reached, when Bright, rowing very strongly, came up level and forged ahead, leading hy_a length and a half at the junction Or tlie rivers. Bright maintained liis load right up to tlie finish, and the judge’s verdict in his-favor was a length, and a quarter. Tho crews were constituted : —Bright (stroke), Frazer (3), Rangi (2), E. Luttrell (bow), and Gumming (stroke), Dodds (3), Sutcliffe (2), and Jeffries (bow). - - _ Following are tlie crews for the club’s second trial fours (for Air. E.
