After midnight Mr. Millar moved the second reading of the Scaffolding Inspection Act Amendment Bill, which provides that all scaffolding is to he inspected, and that lifts must he provided with automatic catch. Tho second reading was agreed to on the voices. Air. AJiliar moved (lie second reading of the Workers’ Compensation Bill. It was pro forma referred to the Labor Bills Committee. The House adjourned at 12.15.
