Press Association. TAI'HAPE, Nov. 1. A walking match, Wakeman v. Wilson, from Marten to Tadhupe, 53 miles, eventuated yesterday. Wakeman breasted tlie tape two feet In advance of his opponent. The time occupied in the actual walking was 10 hours 47 minutes. In a former match, Wakeman v. Kelly, the time was 10 hours 53 minutes, by Kelly.
