SUICIDE.

Press Association. DUNEDIN, Nov. 1. A man named Charles Tippet, employed at tlie Canada Reef Quartz Mine, near Milton, committed suicide by hanging himself in his hut. Deceased had been drinking heavily for some days previously, and was very despondent. At tlie inquest tlie jury returned a verdict of suicide byhanging whilst in a state, of temporary insanity caused by the excessive drinking of alcoholic liquor.
