DESECRATING KRUGER’S

GRAVE

United Press Association—Copyright (Received Oct. 20. 4.18 p.m ) PRETORIA, Oct. i 9. A painful sensation has been caused ill every section of Pretoria by the desecration of the late Mr. Kruger’s grave. Tlie bust was-found wrenched from.the base and lay a yard distant. Incidentally the tombstone of a grandchild in the same plot was slightly damaged. A statuette at the head of the grave was overturned. It is attributed to an attempt to steal tlie bust and await a reward for the recovery, but the bust proved to bo heavier than anticipated.
