Tho AVairarapa master bakers havo decided to raise the price of the 21b loaf to 4Jd cash and 5d hooked throughout the AVairarapa and Alastertoll' AVELLINGTON, Oct. IS. The Trades Council passeu a resolution expressing tlie opinion that tho time has arrived for a- repeal of the duty on flour and wheat ; also urging the Government to establish Stato flour mills.
