•Dnu liken ness. —A first offender was dealt with in tho usual ill inner; Frederick Seeker was convicted and sentenced to 7 days imprisonment, and a prohibition for 12 months was issued against him. Civil Cases. —Judgment was entered for defendants in tho following cases:—.Hallenstein Bros (Mr Burke) v. Kenneth Harris, claim 19s, costs ss: Edmund Buckenidge (Air Burke) v. Samuel Norris, claim £3 15s fid, costs 12s; A. H. G-i liman (Air Hoi), v. Karapa AVahanui, claim £7 Os Cd, costs £1 13s Cd.
Judgment Summons. —In the case A. AI. Lewis (Air Blair) v. Selby Burson (Mr Finn), a judgment summons for a claim of £l(s 12s Cd, the defendant was ordered -to pay 12s Cd within a week and £3 on the Ist day of each succeeding month, until it,he amount lie paid..
