POSITION VERY STRAINED. Press Association. DUNEDIN, Oct. 7. In connection with tho present unusual developments in the bottle trade, Messrs. Thomson and Co. continue to have large quantities of bottles delivered at their premises, and expectations of their effecting a corner in bottles would appear to be not far off realisation,. _ To date they have purchased considerably over three thousand dozen quart bottles at 2s 6d per dozezn. Other members of the trade evidently realise tho seriousness of tho situation, and liavo asked Thomson, and Co. to attend a meeting of the trade to consider the >ositiion, and this Thomson, and Co. lave agreed to do.
