CRICKET.
Tho team to represent Wanderers versus Taruheru at Taruheru ground to-morrow, will be as follows: (Wilson, McColls Harker, Cato, Torkington, Glennie, Babs, Hodge, Hob bison, Neale, Maude, Laurcneon, Adamson, O’Donnell, McConnell. All members are invited to attend. The Taruheru team will be selected from the following:—Fenwick (captain), Goldie,- Lasker,. Charles, Sharp, Mason, Neale, Hodge, Tvinnimont, A. TV. Rees, Loomb, Murphy, Young, •aud Clark.
CRICKET - ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Cric'ket Association was held in the British Empire Hotel last evening,'Mr. Cederwall in the chair. The sub-committee appointed by the Association to draft rules (Messrs Maude, Pasley, and Gardiner) submitted them to the meeting. It was decided—that the colors of the Association be _ dark blue, the officers of the Association to be patrons, a president, three vicepresidents, lion, secretary and trnasurer, and management committee.' On the motion of Dr. Collins, the selection committee was increased from three to five. In speaking to the amendment, i)r. Collins said that tlio previous arrangement had proved ineffectual. He thought that a selection committee ■ consisting of one or five would, answer better. On the motion of the. chairman, it was decided that the rules come into force next season. Discussion ensued on the question of levying a ground fee of Is a member per.day., This matter . was undecided at. ten o’clock, when Dr. Collins, who had the floor, moved an adjournment until 7.30 on Monday evening.
