AUCKLAND, Oct. 4. A doeumont was found this afternoon nt Proeco’s Point, Coromandol harbor, purporting to bo a message from tlio vessel Constance Craig. Tho linos, written in poncil upon a pieco of unruled paper, ran nB follows: “Constanco Craig.—Wo aro quite disabled, nnd there is vory littlo hopo for us boing saved. Our masts have been carriod away. All tho boats were swept overboard and six men, but tlioro is'no damago to hor hull. Tho captain says wo must bo 800 miles off Now Zealand, so goodbye, dear friends. Yours truly, James Smith, Sydney.”
