Tho “Daily Mnil” asks: How can Mr. Moriey justify the punishment of Indian editors and agitators if Mr. Hardie’s more serious speeches are overlooked ? “The Times” condemns Mr. Hardie’s criminal recklessness in fostering Indian sedition. Bengal newspapers declare that the people are delirious with joy over his advent. They hail him as Heavensent to demolish the _ gigantic conspiracy against tho Hindus. Anglo-Indian journals condemn Mr. Hardie’s tour as very mischievous.
