Ono of tho most important events of tho season in connection with the Ladies’ Golf Club took placo on tho links on Saturday afternoon, when the driving, approaching, and putting competitions were decided. In the driving competition, for a prize, presented by Mr. Mrs. Morgan secured first place with a splendid drive of It7f yards. Miss Adams was second with 146 yards, and Mrs. King third with 123 yards.. The approaching competition (SO yards) prize pro; sented by tho club, resulted: Miss Adams Ist, Mrs. Morgan 2nd. The putting competition, prize presented by Miss Adams, was won by Mrs. A. W. Rees, with Mrs. W. J. Barlow second.
