FOOTBALL.
C.S. AND CO. V. COMBINED MERCHANTS. The annual fixture between the above teams takes place to-morrow at Arictoria- Domain at 3 o’clock sharp. These teams have met on four occasions, the combined team winning two matches and Common. Shelton and Co. winning two. A large attendance is expected to-morrow afternoon providing the weather continues fine, as great interest has always been taken in the game. The teams will be as follows:—Common, Shelton and Co.—Full-back, Rogers; three-quarters, Coleman, G. Punett, Smith; five-eighths, Cramp, H. Pnflett: half, E. ‘Roderick; wing, McGonigal; forwards, Dunlop, Nicolas, AA T . Roderick, Crosswell, Peach, Burnett, and Harding; emergency, Sutcliffe. Colors—Blue and black. Combined Merchants—Full-back, Pollock ; three-quarters, AVyllie, Miller, Riddell ; five-eighths, Campbell; half, Evans; wings, AVillock and Malone; forwards, Hansen, Grant, Harrison, Scarfe, AViliams, Bell, and Marshall; emergencies, Fromm and Bean. Colors—AVhite. Mr. J. J. Martin will act as referee.
