A general meeting of the Gisborne Golf Club was held last evening, Mr. Reynolds being in the chair. It was reported that a piece of land at Awapuui . containing about a hundred acres had been acquired for links. It is the intention of the club to erect necessarv buildings on the new links. The Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday played a match under sealed handicaps for prizes presented by the captain, Mrs. Morgan.
