TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17. (Before Mr. W. A. Barton, S.M.) Alleged Trespass—William Graham sued William Edwards- for alleged trespass on Ngakaroa station, the property of the informant, in pursuit of game. Tho defendant pleaded guilty to the charge and was convicted and fined the sum of £l, costs 17s, in default 4 days’ imprisonment. Breach - of Railway By-laws—-John Martin Monckton was charged with attempting to enter a train whilst in motion. The defendant pleaded guilty and was convicted and fined the sum of £l, costs 7s. Failure to comply with Maintainaiice Order—The case against Henry William Hird of failure to comply i with the terms of a maiiitainaiice order, for tlie maintainance of his illegitimate child, was adjourned for a month to enable defendant to pay the arrears.—His Worship said that as the defendant appeared tobe-mak-ing an effort to pay, lie would give him another chance.
