AGRICULTURAL SALT.
I.OYY’ER RAILYY 7 AY FREIGHT WANTED. Press Association. WELLINGTON,'September 16. A deputation of members waited on the Premier to ask him to allow salt for agricultural puruoses to be carried free on the railways. The Premier promised to consider the matter, but emphasised that salt was already carried at a low rate. He certainly could not allow it to go free, but would see if he could place it on the ig rate.
