THE COMING BAND CONTEST.
AUSTRALIAN BANDS ASKED TO COMPETE. Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 16. The secretary of tho Band Contest Committee is advised that it is not tho Association’s intention to grade bands in the quickstep competition, also that endeavors have been made ±o 'get one or more of the following four Australian bands to compete Code’s Melbourne Brass, W. G. Bentley’s N.S.W. Military, Newton Brass and Newcastle Brass.
