Keefer returned yesterday from AVairoa, inhere there has been a sitting of the Maori Hand Board. Col. Porter (President) remained behind to conclude somo matters requiring attention. Further progress in acquiring the new drill was made last evening by the Gisborne Ilifles, after which the men were put through some strenuous physical exercises, calculated to raise the muscle.
