The principal Government organ in Newfoundland says tlio colony has 'again been sacrificed and tho Government overridden. Tho pivemli was entered into regardless of its protests and advice. The journal adds that local laws ought to be enforced, and if the v.ivendi is in conflict with them the Imperial Government must get out of tho difficulty as best it can.
