Lord Londonderry, speaking at AVynyard Park, said the reason tho House of Lords passed so many Radical measures was because, seeing that the Government l»id such a huge majority, they followed tho usual policy of not opposing tho people's clearly expressed wishes. Ho proceeded to emphasise tile great and growing danger of Socialism, urging •those with anything to lose to unite in repelling a policy which involved confiscation of the people's savings, in order that these might be shared by the thriftless and looted by the ■‘have nets.” Ho also declared that all Unionists could unite upon Mr. Balfour's fiscal policy propounded in the Albert Hall.
