COUNTY COUNCIL TENDERS
At the Cook County Council yesterday, Crs. Matthews and Lysnar attending, tenders were opened. FILLING METAL DEPOTS. The successful tenderers were: Seragg and Sons: Cemetery 7s sd, Middle road 6s 9d, Horace's 5s 9d, Hall’s 5s 3d, Kirkpatrick’s 3s 9d, Sunderland’s 3s 9d, Patutaki Hotel 3s 9d, Kirk’s 6s 9d, U’Ren’s 7s, Oweta 7s, Backwater 7s 9d, McLoughlin’s 3s 6d. E. H. Pardoe: Bilham’s 2s 9d, Makaraka 7s 9d, Tomblesou’s 7s 9d, polo ground 7s 9d, King’s 7s 6d, Cook’s Bs, College 7s 6d. Judd Bros.: Saleyards 6s sd, Wairoa junction 4s 7d, Smith’s gate 4s 4d.

Malone, metal 8s 3d, clay 2s 6d; Goodley and Co., metal 7s 6d,' rubble 3s 6d. Goodley and Co-.’s tender was accepted. Maungakanui road : J. Malone, formation £4 17s 6d per chain, culverts £2 each; V. McLoughlin, £5 19s and £2 10s; W. Jones, £5 12s 6d and £3; J. B. Jackson, £3 12s and £2. The tender of J. B. Jackson was accepted.
