ACCUSED FURTHER REMANDED. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 31. AVhen the Mclntyre case was called at the police court this morning (before Mr. H. AY. Bishop, S.M.), Air. Stringer, K.C., who appeared for the Crown, stated that it would be necessary only to take formal evidence. One of the witnesses had to come from Invercargill, and it would not be possible to proceed with the "case just yet. He therefore applied for a further remand, and undertook that the proceedings would be short, not lasting more tliaii an hour. The application was granted, and accused (who was released* on bail) was remanded until 10 a.m. on Fridaynext.
