THURSDAY, AUGUST 29. (Before Mr. AY. A. Barton, S.M.) Drunkenness. —Edward Hogan was charged with being found drunk a fid was convicted and fined 10s, costs 2s, in default 24 hours imprisonment. Civil Cases.—Judgment was given by default in. the following civil cases: Common Shelton and Co. (Mr. Stock) v. Ralph Donkin, claim for £5 17s lOd, costs £1 5s 6d; Hallenstein Bros. (Mr. Burke) v. H. I). Beau, claim 11s 6d, cost’s ss. Judgment was also given in the case lopa To Han, (Air. Finn), v. Taare Piti, (Air. Lysnar), claim £O2 2s od, costs £6 18s 6d. Judgment Summons. —In the iollowing cases the defendants were ordered to pay the amount of claim, in default 7 days’ imprisonment. Taylor v. AA r oolcott, claim £6 6s 7d; AV. Arden v. E. Fenton £6 3s.—ln the case Jas. AVhinray v. Toni Porter (Air. Blair) the summons was dismissed, the defendant showing that ho had not had the money.
