The Y.M.C.A. building campaign was started in earnest to-day and the collectors met with a large _ measure of success, the . total donations now amountin'* to £438-5 11s. Young men’s teams numbering-220, collected slightly more than £450. Mr. Lyman Pierce, organiser, states that all his experiences ho never saw such an auspicious opening- day, and he predicts that Dunedin will establish a record for the Southern Hemisphere. ____
