THURSDAY, AUGUST 15. (Before Captain T. Clirisp and Mr. J. Somervell, Js. P.) Drunkenness.—Three first offenders were dealt with in the ysual manner. Procuring Liquor.—The case against Robert Grant Browne of procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order was adjourned till Tuesday, 20th inst., hnu being allowed. Civil Cases.—Judgment was given by default in the following cases: Hamon and Smith v. John Colbert, claim £3 4s lOd with costs 10s ; Bissoti Bros. v. Pnku, claim £ll 3s Bd, costs £2; Robert Colebrook (Air. A. T. Coleman) v. Aropa Piripi, claim £1 7s 4d, costs £1 4s; same v. Hemi Popota, claim £3 15s 4d, costs £1 5s 6d ; same v. Molii Tnmatia, claim £l4 12s lOd, costs £2 15s; same v. Ivaraitiana, Ruru, claim £9 9s. costs £1 Bs. 6d ; -same v. Pahu Telia, claim £l3 2s lOd. costs £2 6s; Francis Stafford (Mr. Hei) v. Thomas -Dennis, claim £0 9s 3d, costs £1 15s 6d.
