PERSONAL.
Mr. J. Chadwick, the well-known Auckland sporting writer, was in Gisborne for a few hours yesterday on liis way South to attend the Grand National meeting ait Christchurch. Mr. Barton, S.M., left last evening for Wairoa, via Napier. Miss Murcuitt took her departure on Saturday morning for Auckland. She is to he tendered a Maori welcome at Rotorua on Tuesday.
