Miss Day. of Unworn, and Miss Eva Skeet, of Gisborne, have taken ' ir positions on the local telephone staff. The latter is newly appointed. Miss Robb, who has . been temporarily transferred to Hawora. will subsequently rejoin the Gisborne staff. Visitors to town include Messrs. A. McLean and Jefferson (Mulia'ka) W. Maxwell (Hangaroa) Little, McKoil•/.ie (Motti). Mr. Jameison of Tokomaru Hay is at present in Gisborne, as manager of the East Coast football representatives.
