DUNEDIN, last night At the Port Chalmers Police Court to-day John Cusack, publican, was barged with permitting gambling on us licensed premises by allowing the [Having of a game of billiards for drinks. Defendant, pleaded not guilty. The charge was' brought under Act Amendment - Act of 1904. Ihe men played billiards in the hotel and at the end of each game had drinks, the loser paving for them.
