(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, lust night. t Tlio Lands Committee met again t'i-dav to consider the Land Dill. What was dono is common knowledge amongst members and pressmen, but the latter are bound by the rules of tins House not to report what takes | 'place in Select Committees. Speaking in the House this afternoon the Leader of the Opposition made some slight reference to the matter. “Judging from the countenances of leaseholders,” he said, “the Land Bill is meeting with a very stormy passage through committee.”
